Urgent Support Needed: Rebuilding the School

PSST is launching a Digital Education Fund to provide school tuition and essential supplies for 1,000 of Haiti's most vulnerable rural children each year across its 25 educational facilities.

The initiative will prioritize orphans and children living on less than $2 a day, helping remove financial barriers that can prevent children from remaining in school and providing them with a safe, stable environment in which to learn and grow.

Keeping vulnerable children in the classroom is about more than education. It can help protect children from the risks of exploitation and gang recruitment while giving them the opportunity to develop the knowledge and skills needed to build independent futures. PSST's digital monitoring system will provide accountability by documenting student progress through monthly home visits, quarterly report cards, and direct photo updates for donors.

The program also looks beyond graduation. Students who achieve the highest Pass With Distinction (PWD) marks will have opportunities to develop practical trade skills and participate in internships through PSST Hubs, helping them take their first steps toward independent professional careers.

Support for the Digital Education Fund will help keep vulnerable children in school today while investing in their education, skills, safety, and future contribution to their communities.
