Building a Stronger Future for Haiti, One Community at a Time

“To spend my heaven doing good on earth.”

— Sainte-Thérèse of the Child Jesus

For more than 77 years, The Little Sisters of Saint Thérèse serve communities throughout Haiti where access to education, healthcare, food security, and essential resources can be limited. Our projects respond to specific needs identified by the Sisters who live and work alongside these communities.

Each project represents an opportunity to make a tangible difference. From restoring a school so children can safely return to their classrooms to bringing medical care to families in remote rural areas, these initiatives turn partnership into action.

Programs Needing Your Support Now

Reconstruction of the School

The reconstruction of our school will provide children with a safe, stable, and suitable place to learn and continue their education. The project will restore classrooms and the essential spaces needed for students and teachers to return to school with dignity and security. A functioning school will allow children to resume their studies and provide families with greater confidence that their children have access to education in their community. By restoring this educational environment, the project will help children continue developing the knowledge and skills they need for their future.

Your support will help rebuild a place where children in Haiti can learn, grow, and build hope for themselves, their families, and their communities.

A Mobile Clinic

The mobile clinic will bring essential healthcare services, medicines, and medical professionals directly to families living in isolated rural communities in Haiti. For people who live far from established medical facilities, this service can provide access to basic care that may otherwise be difficult or impossible to reach. The clinic will allow the Sisters and their medical partners to respond to health needs where people live, rather than requiring vulnerable families to travel long distances for care. Regular medical outreach can also help identify health concerns earlier and connect people with additional care when needed.

Your support will help bring healthcare closer to families who need it most and extend compassionate medical care to communities that are often difficult to reach.
